"Fuck," Margo groaned. "How long is this shit supposed to last?"

She stretched out on top of the blankets, sweaty and relaxed with that post-banging glow. And still: she didn't feel spent. "Because this is getting to be a pain in the ass beyond the pain in the ass."

She eyed El in all his gangly naked glory. "If this keeps up, I think we're gonna have to hit the mainland."

You couldn't bang your best friend to keep the edge off forever.

"I know!" Eliot laughed back, hands up now to block the pillow attack. "I'm trying to stop. Tell me one of your unfortunate mental images from this week, Bambi, please?"

"I had a great fucking dream about Tiny, Tino, Shunsui, and that tall drink of vampire water from the Devil's Nest feeding me chocolates and rubbing my feet?" Margo offered.

"Ugh, Tino," Eliot said, as though he hadn't been thinking about him that way just last night. "Otherwise . . . that is not an embarrassing fantasy, darling. That sounds absolutely fantastic."

“It’s not my fault even my bad horny ideas are good horny ideas,” Margo said, stretching. “Oooh. I should text Irene to bring some toys over.”

"Is that my queue to go find a conquest of my own?" Eliot asked, rolling over to reach for his robe. "Or shall I just get us some snacks so we're both ready to go again when needed?"

Margo waved a lazy hand. "Just putting a pin in that idea for later," she said. "We fucked fabulously. We deserve snacks."

"And snacks we shall have," Eliot said, clapping his hands. He slipped into his robe and stood, stretching. "I will say one thing for this pollen: it certainly can't help but keep the local populace trim and fit."

"And it's a great way to exercise," Margo agreed, sitting up slowly.

"Precisely my point," Eliot said. "No wonder everyone here is so sexy."

“Don’t go too far, it’s only happened to us once,” Margo said. “But maybe they practice…”

"From how people have responded, I gather this is a semi-regular event." Eliot shrugged. "But you know I always encourage practicing sex. Safe or not."

“You just have to make sure the engine hasn’t run dry,” Margo agreed. “You know, give it a good… thorough… tuning…”

"Mmm," Eliot hummed. ". . . We are definitely going again when I get back."

“Yes,” Margo said, nodding seriously. “So you better bring enough carbs.”

"A weighty quest, but one I think I am up to," Eliot said. He grinned at her, then headed towards the kitchen with a laugh.
