This is Jon. On radio this morning, I read about your needing to get a book. I'm well aware of your opinion of me, but perhaps that will help when I say that even *I* would be extremely wary when faced with something like this. I don't know if magical books are normal where you're from, but I've seen far too many of them eat people - occasionally literally. I don't have the right to give you advice, but I will state that such things should be treated with extreme caution, if they need to be dealt with at all. As always, I am available should you have questions.
I tried coming by your place a few times, but you haven't answered the door. I saw Eliot in the library, and he was a ghost and bloody and looking for you. I have no idea what happened or if it's related to what we did or if you're okay, so please text or call me back?
Apparently some people were different versions of themselves this weekend, and I'm really hoping that was true for Eliot and maybe you and everything is fine now, but please let me know if you can?
Like Margo would let Fear Nerd in on how fucking freaked out she was right now. (It would be fine. So it didn’t matter. She’d been through this before with the probability spell.)
And yet Margo couldn’t resist texting back, eldritch fear thing, no. crazy six-fingered moth-Beast and asshole drama-queen satyr god, yeah. You ain’t that special, honey
well we know he's going to be fine for a couple of days before he breaks down again, Margo texted, rubbing her forehead. we need a plan. maybe we need to perma-mute the fucker.
Eliot didn't really have a response to that. He'd felt what happened when Jon got hungry and could talk. He'd felt what happened when he tried to manage a controlled feeding to mitigate things, too.
Then Margo was treated to a very long stretch of three dots and Eliot started and deleted any number of attempts to explain why he'd decided not to do it again without getting an 'I told you so' loud enough to be heard from orbit.
Suggestive messages from numbers he didn't quite recognize were not uncommon for Shunsui, but they were always a delight, and one of the few things he would actually rise to the occasion to respond to.
Clothing really is such a nuisance, isn't it? ❤ Let's see what we can do to about such a problem together~ ❤❤❤
So after a good deal of deliberation, Kamala decided to send some unsolicited advice to Arden about her current circumstances. After all what are friends for? So she sent the following text:
I've been doing a lot of thinking and I think the best thing you can do in your current situation is confess your feelings. I'm pretty sure the feelings would be returned considering the looks I see between the two of you.
Text to Margo, after radio on Monday
Re: Text to Margo, after radio on Monday
Q vanished last night, anyway, so my priority is I gotta deal with Eliot’s sad disappointed face, what’s done is done.
Followed, a few minutes later, by:
We’re fixing Eliot this week, be on stand by.
Re: Text to Margo, after radio on Monday
I could have lived without that knowledge.
After the second:
Standing by.
Text to Margo, way too early Sunday morning
Re: Text to Margo, way too early Sunday morning
Poor Jon. He really should have spent more attention in the library.

Re: Text to Margo, Monday morning
Then, after he dithered for a moment:
Please let me know if you need anything.
If nothing else, Margo yelling at him for that might be disturbingly normal for both of them?

Re: Text to Margo, Monday morning
I should hope so.
Albeit mostly because I sincerely hope you don't know any others.

Re: Text to Margo, Monday morning
Please go back in time and tell literally anybody in my world that. I could have avoided so many kidnappings.
Well, Jonah had said Jon was nobody special before he chose him to end the world, but nobody should ever talk to Jonah.

A pause. Then

You could sort of hear the growl.

I know I’m usually the less aggro one in this relationship but I’m tempted to just let you loose on him

Eliot was tempted to let her.

She rolled her eyes and eyed her nails. She could give him a few more moments before she rubbed it in.

Eliot finally decided on the spell was a tightrope. almost too much for one magician
There. Put in a little bit of a dig of "well maybe if I had help" to go with the whole eating crow thing.

She was not moved.

It had admittedly been a long shot.
Eliot heaved a dramatic sigh -- not that she could see it.
you were right. but I wasn't wrong to try.
Phones Go Rogue '23

Re: Phones Go Rogue '23
Phone Day
I think you've mistaken me for the guy you're in love with.
~oh hey phones!~

Phone day
I wouldn't have thought you were asking me out, but I would definitely play some sort of cat game, once I'm fit for company. Perhaps I'll stop by.

Wacky phone day!
I'm flattered, but you're a little young for me. And I prefer to do the cooking.

You can have sex with whoever you want and I'm super sorry if I gave you the impression I thought it was my business at all!
Re: Phone Day
So she immediately texted back to that message with one that would weirdly make some sense to Margo
I'M SORRY! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID BUT I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!
